Pros
I enjoyed working with a few of my colleagues who actually worked to cultivate a healthy, supportive work environment. Mainly, those who worked in the customer service and marketing research departments, as well as my former supervisor. Although I was saddled with the work of two different roles, my passion for writing and content creation kept me fulfilled, especially with the leadership and support of my supervisor.
Cons
This is where things get dicey. The senior management team is beyond their depths in successfully running a professional and fair work environment. The company is part of a corporation worth billions, yet they continue to lowball ALL employees regardless of experience. They consistently pile on long-term responsibilities and work to employees, even if it is completely irrelevant to the individual's role, while shuddering at any discussions involving a pay increase to appropriately and fairly match the jobs being done. When push comes to shove, they will eventually stick employees in probation periods for these new roles, yet push the end date as a way to avoid making a pay increase official. Or even worse, they will congratulate you on your new promotion without a pay increase at all. Apart from the pay, the senior management team is riddled with individuals who have unchecked egos, subpar management styles, and outdated visions on how to market and sell their products. What's most telling of their management style can be seen in the company's turnover rate. I've seen AT LEAST 10 employees within the office space alone come and go within a year and a half of working for Ameziel. Admittedly, that number includes my manager and I who were laid off–not fired–without notice under false pretenses. But don't confuse me as a disgruntled former employee. I merely aim to write an honest review to ensure that future applicants can avoid the same mistake I made.
