Pros
Nice facility... ish. My classroom had no windows to the outside. The benefits are good, but they kick in after 90 days and I quit well before that.
Cons
First of all, they have a warped sense of what children need. They expected way too much from 15 month-olds. They are so focused on adhereing to DCFS standards and state regulations that they forget about the KIDS! How can you give the kids the love and nurturing they deserve when your face is in an iPhone updating an app day day? The staff walks on eggshells for fear of getting in trouble with the director, who, by the way, got her degree from Devry. I'm sorry, but since when does Devry specialize in ECE? I was told I was the lead teacher, but given as much authority as the unqualified assistants in my room. I was treated like a moron despite have seven years experience prior. Every day was worse than the next and I was gone in less than a month.
