Pros
I have been with Sonoco for 30 years. Their stability is derived from their thriftiness. It's like living with the rich family that never takes a vacation. But there is always food in the cupboard (day old bread and generic peanut butter). Sonoco makes a great product but their longevity is because they are good with money. Period.
Cons
For all the good listed above, the cons are that they're just good enough as an employer to keep you there for your entire career. (Even though mom and dad are cheap, it's nice having a roof over my head).
