Pros
- If you live in or want to live in San Diego, there are many opportunities to bounce from one position to another to keep the benefits of staying with the same company (increasing vacation time and 401k vesting, increased knowledge of inner workings of company to be more productive) while gaining new experiences and skills.
Cons
- Although flexible work arrangements are promoted and used by some, most new positions are located in San Diego, which is not so great if you don't live in San Diego and want to move around and up within the company.
