Pros

No pressure, Samagama trip and a great work life balance.

Cons

project management is horrible, projects get delayed due to poor management, it is a service based company not a product based. There is no software development happening in SISC. The role is just a support engineer. You will just write scripts and modify a few lines of code in client projects. POC's will always fail, even if they succeed they will not get into production. Career will die if you stay for a long time. Unlike other companies, Senior people do not write code. Awards, promotions and hike are not based upon performance, it depends on the team and manager you work for. It is the least meritocratic, despite performance people are given promotion just for their years at Sony. Of all the companies I've worked for this is the least productive and most political. If you are a fresher leave after a couple of years. However, it is a great place to work at if you want work life balance.

Pros

Great work culture with supportive and approachable colleagues. Good learning environment, especially for fresh graduates starting their careers. Opportunity to work with modern technologies and industry-standard development practices. Competitive compensation compared to many other internship programs.

Cons

Intern involvement in core business-critical projects can be limited depending on the team. Opportunities to take ownership of major features may be restricted during the internship period. Conversion from intern to full-time employee appears to be relatively uncommon, which can create uncertainty about long-term career prospects.
