Pros

Company still has decent pay and benefits and a decent work-life balance. Pay and benefits are changing for the worse though with small but consistent takeaways here and there.

Cons

Multiple rounds of layoffs ("OpX") of all non-field jobs have left employee morale broken with no trust in leadership. Many departments have went through 2 or 3 major layoff rounds in past 3-4 years with more to come and no real end in sight. Company is hiring overpriced external consulting companies (i.e. Bain and friends) and evaluating and outsourcing anything it can as that is the strategy-du-jour. Commitment to employees and well-being are nothing more than hollow phrases. Rumors of the company being set up to be sold don't help morale.

Pros

Pay, they pay very well. Interesting work and SOME very sharp people.

Cons

The department I was in was very toxic. Company claims to be values based but that is a joke. The "leaders" in my OU were abusive and have been reported to HR multiple times by many people. Nothing was ever done. The entire company isn't toxic, its too bad that some of the areas are.
