Pros

Nothing. There are no pros unless you are related to the President or one of the VPs

Cons

Management does not care about employees. Consistently expect nurses to operate outside their scope of practice. VPs are a joke and have no clue what they are doing. great place to work if you want to lose your license.

Pros

Overall, I like the job. I’ve worked at several different jails and they’re all different but I do like that SHP has manuals available for anything you’re not sure of. Communication is good too.

Cons

Definitely need a longer training period.
