Great experience for first internship - Intern Southern Tier Central Regional Planning and Development Board Employee Review

Job content was fulfilling. Coworkers were delightful and supportive/collaborative. Management was great. I had a lot of flexibility to pursue my work without micromanagement. My overall experience here was very positive.

The pay was not great, but the benefits were very good.

IF you are eager to do urban planning as a career, then this internship would be a great opportunity because everything you'll work on required background and interest in urban planning. You'll get a lot of chances to discuss your work with your client.

Slow paced environment kind of decreased motivation of working.
