Friendly atmosphere and the pay for this position is nice.

Cons

Employees are not teachable due to the longevity of their employment. The schedule is managed for maximum profit... meaning short staffing is typical. As the Chef, you do not have control of the portions, specials sold, prices, or whether employees remain employed. Free to give suggestions, only to be ignored and patronized.

Cons

Dealing with unprofessional behaviour When you work hard and go the extra mile it is still considered not doing enough and that you are lazy Management don’t respect the employees that work for them. You call for a day off sick and management gets mad at you. Passive aggressive is a Phd here
