The owner is very knowledgeable and connected in the industry. The team, at the time, was good.

Everything else. The owner, Kathryn, is emotionally unstable. HIGH turnover of team and clients because of her emotional outbursts/anger. She is very manipulative and will pull you in with many promises and a great vision for the company — don’t fall for it. It won’t happen. The owner is not truthful and lacks integrity. Does not pay wages on time, if at all. Multiple former team members have outstanding wages for years. Does not follow through on visa promises, had team working illegally in foreign country. Does not follow through on insurance and other contracted benefits. The environment the owner creates is extremely toxic. It’s shameful that leaders in the spa industry continue to support her or partner with her. If she were operating her business in any Western country, she would have been jailed for her business misconduct. Please be aware the owner is now operating another company called Hall of Wellness Awards. Stay far away from anything tied to Kathryn Moore!

Because of the lack of structure, you learn to figure things out on your own, make decisions independently, and problem-solve without much guidance.

The owner operates her company in an extremely unprofessional and unethical manner. She routinely engages employees without formal employment contracts, and many former team members have gone unpaid for months - in some cases, even years - after leaving the company. Because the business is registered in Australia, former employees in the UAE have no legal recourse to sue her to recover their salaries. What is most concerning is that this behaviour is well known in the industry, yet she continues to appear at major events, because people assume she is reputable and well connected. It is disappointing - and ironic - that a company in the wellness sector conducts business with such disregard for integrity and wellbeing. She often makes grand promises to clients, investors, and project owners, but rarely delivers what she commits to. Please conduct thorough due diligence on any past projects before entering into any agreement with her, and if you choose to work with her, insist on pre-payment to protect yourself.
