      Pros

      Vibrant office, central location, ample parking, fantastic team, awesome work perks and you're surrounded by like minded, creative and passionate people.

      Cons

      Salaries aren't huge & you're often multi-tasking a variety of roles. That's just the nature of a start up.

      Pros

      Young startup. Relaxed Culture. Funky location

      Cons

      - No HR department. Employment or personal issues very hard to be resolved or looked at - No transparency - Upper management tend to avoid any issues among lower level staff - No pathways to advance up the structure (this comes back to no HR within the company) - Too much focus on creating a "Google" start-up culture, instead of dealing with actual problems in regards to process management. - Extreme difficulty in being re-reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses. - Departments are very silo. Little communication among teams.

We appreciate your feedback as we continually work to improve the culture for our employee’s – supporting, empowering and developing them to be able to grow in their careers. You may be pleased to hear we had similar feedback a few years ago and we have since implemented a Human Resource Manager. This has helped immensely with our development goals, structure, and of course, any topics raised by staff requiring attention. In addition to this, we have weekly “toolbox/stand-up” meetings and monthly meetings, encouraging everyone to share improvements or issues with the wider team. Again, thank you for your review!

      Pros

      Collaborative culture, everyone's opinion is heard. Groceries provided weekly, free parking, office dog daily and people actually listen to each other!

      Cons

      As it is a start-up, sometimes there is a "wait and see" kind of policy where you have to guess what is going to work and what isn't.
