Pros

The staff you work with in your store. Once a year you get to go on a trip to interact with other TPRs and corporate

Cons

They never uphold their promises or "core values". Example: Promise internal hires for upper management; then hires external, with less experience than numerous internal applicants. Consistently give false promises with no intention of following through from every level in the company. Expect you to work overtime without compensation as salary. To save them paying associates or their gross profit per hour, and keeps your stores understaffed. The worst training and training staff I have experienced with any company. They just put body's in stores to keep the doors open. When numerous people have talked about the lack of training or request more training they argue that their way is already working... When their turn over is 60% They add more and more to the store managers plate with no increase in pay or training. Upper management delegates majority of their actual job responsibilities down to you without compensation or recognition. PAY: For sales associates the pay and expectations don't add up. They recently redid their pay where it has now decreased commissions; and created a loss of 1000-2500 every month, compared to what they were making before. Their argument is the dollar raise they gave everyone... That's 2000 a year and they are losing that every month in commissions. Store managers: Base salary pay is inconsistent. Some will be started off at 36000 others 41000, and of course the best is externals getting 42-44000 start out. When you look at resumes and experience in comparison their is no justified reason for such high variation. Except if you have worked corporate for even a month you warrant better pay... Oddly enough male management pay is always higher. Bonuses: With the new pay structure again lose out, on top of the increasing list of things they keep adding to take directly from your pay. YES DIRECTLY FROM MANAGER PAY. Originally it was just inventory, but over the past year they have added sim cards, warranties, bill credits, discounts, etc. You always have to watch your own pay and sales associates to make sure you don't get screwed. Then wait 2weeks to a month to have it fixed. Sometimes never getting proper compensation. When you leave they will try to not pay or under pay you. Make sure you keep all communication in a documentable form because that's the only way they will hold up their word eventually.
