Pros
Approachable managers and caring team. Growth prospects. Lots of room to try new things
Cons
The finance and operations team focuses too much on cutting costs, often to extremes. Every request, even for basic supplies, gets a "no." This obsession creates an atmosphere of restriction, which hurts productivity and morale. The constant worry about delayed paychecks and over emphasis on compliance causes anxiety. They need complex reports and too much tracking, wasting employees' time on unnecessary tasks. Their communication is poor—rude, dismissive, and argumentative, making the work environment toxic. They are keyboard warriors and will most definitely creep you out if you talk to them for more than 2 minutes. They also like arbitrary display of power by threatening people: "Fill timesheets or I stop payroll," "Submit random forms in 24 hours or I won’t process increments," or "Why do you need MS office license? Let’s find cheaper options." The reward and recognition program is almost non existent and embarrassing. Handing out peanuts is apparently the cool thing to do. This approach hurts everyone. Demotivated employees are less creative and productive; many good people leave because of this toxicity. The obstacles stop innovation and growth.
