They might be okay if you work for them and not an acquired company - Software Developer Spectrio Employee Review

Pros

None if you’re on the wrong end of an acquisition.

Cons

Completely uncaring, incompetent management who refuse to communicate. If they acquire the place you work they’ll leave you in a state of limbo, uncertain of your future or the future of the company you work for. If your company has been acquired by Spectrio just run while you still have a job. You don’t want to work for them.

Acquisitions can be challenging because of the vast number of moving parts and discoveries throughout the process, but we are sorry to hear that you felt there wasn’t enough effort to provide answers as quickly as you would have preferred. Pros

I truly appreciate that the company lives by its core values, and I find the communication and support across most departments to be excellent. Furthermore, my direct manager is wonderful. They consistently value my suggestions and opinions, whether the feedback is positive or constructive.

Cons

Some concerns regarding employee engagement and communication. In the past, initiatives like "coffee chats" with the CEO and monthly meetings with upper management were very effective in making staff feel that our ideas and opinions were valued. Since these meetings ended about a year ago, there has been a noticeable shift in morale, leading to a feeling that employee feedback is no longer a priority. Additionally, the high turnover rate in the sales department has created significant concerns regarding job security. I believe it would be beneficial for the company to address these issues directly by providing insight into why this turnover is occurring and sharing the strategic plan for moving forward.

Thank you for taking the time to share comments about your experience here at Spectrio. Our ICARE values are the guiding principles we live by every day so we’re thrilled that you recognize them in your interactions with your team and your manager. As you know, over the past few years, we have incorporated several different approaches to company wide communication such as in-person and virtual Town Hall meetings, Department Roundtables, webinars, smaller team meetings, cascading information via email, and other methods. While every team has different preferences and communication styles, we do appreciate your feedback about the effectiveness of your team’s prior Roundtables and coffee chats. We will pass your comments along to our leadership. We also hope to see you at one of our upcoming Coffee Chats with the CEO in early June! Additionally, we understand your concerns about turnover and want to assure you that we are actively working to identify the root causes so we can address them thoughtfully and strategically throughout the organization. Again, thank you for your candid feedback. We encourage you to continue to share your comments and suggestions with your manager, executive leader, or our CEO directly, or in our anonymous quarterly surveys so we can continue to enhance your experience here at Spectrio.
