Pros
Spectro *was* a GREAT company to work at. I have been here almost 7 years and the first 6 were my ideal company. We weren't perfect, but we got the job done. Management was incredible. They took a company they bought for $20m in 2011 and sold it for $190m in 2018. You had all kinds of freedom to get your job done. There were no slackers, no corporate politics. I had no problem putting in overtime, because I knew they'd take care of us and we'd be treated fairly.
Cons
Everything is now a con since the Ametek buy-out. The place is run by a European who is just a corporate tool. They have cut three rounds of people, even if we're profitable, but not profitable *enough* for our new overlords. Morale has gone through the floor. All I can say is that everyone is headed to the doors. No one wants to be part of this corporate Titanic.
