Pros
This place is good for someone who is young with little to no obligations. If you're out of luck, single, but a hard worker looking for management experience this is your place. You will get a promotion very fast in this company due to high turnover and horrible work culture. Decent insurance benefits. Everyone gets one week of vacation for one year worked. 2 weeks of vacation after two weeks. 3 weeks after 5 years. etc.
Cons
Horrible work life balance. The longer you're here the more you're abused. District Managers hope to con you into the idea of being an on call 24/7 General Manager that is expected to be there at the drop of the hat at any time. This company doesn't pay their Salary GM's what they're worth. The Salaried District Managers aren't even any better off themselves. This company will chew you up and spit you out with impossible standards and scenarios. They are a thankless soulless bunch. Hess and Speedway treated us much better. 7/11 has no soul and is so greedy it's outrageous. After 4 years at a company and a job I once loved I'm out. There are better pastures. This place will work you until you're suicidal or have a heart attack, whichever comes first.
