Pros

Relationships you build with distributors, paid time off is fairly generous.

Cons

The move to the office from a remote position was met with asking me to bring my own office furniture. They tout a “we’re all a family here” narrative, and they are unbelievably cheap; even asking one of our customers at one point to fix our own product herself. Management has some very unusual goals, and they are rebranding for the 3rd or 4th time? They are sporadic at best in delivering product, and if you are in this role, prepare to be dumped on and thrown under the bus by sales people. Leaving was the best thing that happened to me. The CEO is an eccentric who will tout his anti-vaxx views in company meetings.

Pros

I've worked at Spellbound/CrewSafe for a long time. I've seen us grow and go through growing pains. I can honestly say that through it all, the bottom line is: we care about each other and the owner/company cares about us (we all know each other's spouses and kids!). I've always been taken care of and supported. I can safely share my thoughts and opinions. Ideas are encouraged, creativity is never stifled and my professional growth is encouraged. If you work with the team and for the betterment of each other and the company, you will have a successful, long-lasting career here! - Game center in warehouse (ping pong, air hockey, corn hole) - Super cool kitchen - Fun food days (breadday, pot lucks, holiday themes, etc.) - Year end festivities (Christmas parties, contests, prizes, etc.) - Shutdown between Christmas & New Years - Balance between work and family - Ideation & creative sessions - A lot more ....

Cons

We start at 7am - not sure this is a con b/c we get out early!

Pros

The negative reviews are real while the positive ones were requested from the CEO.

Cons

The amateur management team relies on outdated methods, micromanagement, and nepotism. There are no processes in place, and high employee turnover is the norm. Highly unprofessional practices that make everyone feel deeply uncomfortable. They offer only 3% raises and require you to participate in awkward activities like praying before meals. The CEO is the biggest threat to this company with his decision making, usual discriminatory language towards anyone who isn't religious or believes in science based evidence, and other typical cringe requests. He treats the employees as though they are the court jesters while he is King and wants to see how high you'll jump, that sort of thing. Questionable employees fly under the radar because they've been able to distract with being outlandish and over the top.
