Pros
It's a technology company within the finance industry, which means you get to work with super smart people with stem backgrounds while also learning about finance. Everyone there is super friendly, and the environment is very collaborative as opposed to competitive (like how some finance companies can be). People there WANT you to succeed and are rooting for you.
Cons
Since it's a tech company and the majority of people come from stem backgrounds, the work is very technical and may not be the best fit for someone not interested in the technical aspect. Also since SpiderRock provides tech services for trading companies, the work depends on finance, so this company may not be for you if you are not interested in learning about finance (you don't need to be an expert in finance, just be open to learning!)
