The company is ruled by the management who didn't change for the last 10+ years. They bring it across as expertise, but people who are put in charge of some new projects refer to their experience at Mattel 10 years ago :-) So the systems in place are POOR, the processes are NOT IN PLACE and the ones who feel it the most are the people who have hands-on jobs: demand planners, sales, brand managers, financial analysts. The only thing managers in this company care about is their status quo and keeping that warm place they sit on for the last 10 years. And this is pretty much the case across all regions in EU. So nepotism, which many mention in other reviews is not just present, everything is soaked in nepotism. You think you are ready for that and flexible enough, right? So buckle up! Are you also ready for the 10-12 working days as a norm? Even if you live in a country with a strict labor regulation in place. Late international calls, which are mandatory or company's sales summits where it is expected people from Australia to be up at 4am and present. Add to this that the management will not approve any additional resources you require, no additional team members to handle the work-pressure. This all leads to one thing: GOOD PEOPLE LEAVE or consider leaving. Nothing is done about talent retention. At least you will never feel it. Because those working at HR are also overloaded and will not care enough about your feedback or complaints. Funny though how typical for the large corporations they present the results of the company-broad questionnaire, showing the happiness of the people and the support of the management. And the CEO's will join one of the international calls and will tell everybody to take care of their mental health! If that is not epic then I don't know what is!!
