Pros

Desk work doesn’t require too much physical labor

Cons

• Fear-based management culture Interacting with leadership is intimidating rather than supportive. Employees work under constant fear of being reprimanded. • Lack of trust in employees Management assumes incompetence or bad intent by default. Even routine tasks are questioned and second-guessed. • Condescending communication Phrases like “use common sense”, “think for a second” or “are you stupid?” are commonly used in a degrading way. This creates a hostile and demoralizing environment. • Psychological mind games from leadership Expectations are unclear and employees are “tested” instead of guided. This leads to confusion, self-doubt, and feeling set up to fail. • Extreme micromanagement Minor details such as email wording are heavily scrutinized. Employees can be yelled at even when the actual work is correct. • Culture of paranoia Leadership frequently claims sales reps or employees are trying to steal from the company. This creates unnecessary distrust and tension. • Unrealistic workload Tasks are often excessive or poorly scoped, with shifting expectations. Employees are blamed when deadlines or goals aren’t met. • Low pay for high stress and long hours Paid minimum wage while regularly working 40–60 hours per week. Compensation does not reflect responsibility or workload. • Time off is tracked and penalized Sick days and vacation days are closely monitored and later used against employees. Using earned time off can negatively impact performance evaluations. • No psychological safety Asking questions, clarifying expectations, or using entitled benefits feels risky. Employees often avoid speaking up to protect themselves. • Burnout is normalized Chronic stress, fear, and exhaustion are treated as part of the job and overworking yourself is glorified rather than a problem to address. Literally staying until midnight was treated as something that had to happen and be proud of doing. (And yes, you still had to come in the next day at 8AM).

Pros

There are a few genuinely good people employed here who try to make the situation bearable.

Cons

- Constant disorder and instability with no clear direction or structure - Management arrives late, leaves early, yet enforces strict hours on everyone else - No backfilling when employees quit, forcing remaining staff to absorb double the workload for the same pay - Little to no training, leaving employees to struggle and figure out critical tasks alone - Sick days or time off are treated as personal offenses rather than necessities - An openly hostile atmosphere filled with yelling and condescending behavior - Employees walk on eggshells around the CEO and his wife - Low pay compare to the amount of work demanded - Benefits were delayed for an entire year - Anyone outside of sales is ignored and overlooked
