Pros

For the longest time I thought I would have to commute to the city to find real advertising agency work, that was until I started working at Spitball. With well known clients across a variety of verticals, my day-to-day work is diverse and challenging. The collaborative work atmosphere and team-first attitude truly bring the best ideas and strategies to the table. My team is always encouraging me to push the creative bounds and explore the different elements of digital. While I’ve only been at Spitball for a year, I've already seen significant growth in my creative and strategic thinking.

Pros

Spitball has been an integral part of my career growth. This company encourages teamwork, togetherness, and gives the employees the resources they need to succeed. As a junior, they have always encouraged me to learn as much as I can and to try new things, attend classes, work with other departments, etc.

Cons

The internal structure is still being built up

Pros

Spitball is a close-knit team where great ideas are welcome from every member regardless of title. There is a culture of creative thinking that stems from the two founders who are hands on and as invested in the career development of their team as they are in the quality of the work that Spitball delivers. Everyone is often pushed to work hard and on many projects simultaneously but the friendliness and openness of the environment and people make it manageable and truly enjoyable. There is a real commitment across all Spitballers to helping each other meet deadlines, grow creatively and professionally, and deliver solutions to clients that the entire agency can be proud of.

Cons

I personally consider this a pro, but if you’re the kind of person who prefers to keep a narrow focus on one role’s responsibilities and work in a sort of silo, this isn’t the fit for you. Everyone wears multiple hats and continuously learns new skills to add to his or her professional toolbelt.
