The job role itself, but nothing else

The organisation has changed it's name to Fear Free (and they works with perpetrators of domestic abuse (let that set in!)) Unsafe working environment. No support or training. Clueless and dangerous managers. The organisation does not know how to keep staff safe when working with perpetrators of domestic abuse. Culture of bullying, blame and abuse within the organisation (from staff) Abuse or threats from perpetrators towards staff goes unchallenged. As a worker, it felt safer being in the company of the perpetrators rather than my colleagues (the mangers were the worst of the colleagues). I would not recommend this organisation to an enemy, let alone a friend.

Very flexible and understanding of family commitments . Interesting work and a positive atmosphere.

Low pay compared to other charities.
