Pros

An NPR affiliate, 3 different broadcast streams, a mostly-friendly and smart staff, supportive community, dedicated volunteers, laid-back atmosphere, good time-off benefits, a community licensed non-profit with a great mission

Cons

Dysfunctional old-guard and territorial senior staff resistant to change, operated more like a club than business, distrust of outside ideas results in hires being internal, little or no meetings between key operational personnel, lack of performance reviews keeping some employees underpaid, staff rewarded for complacency and loyalty to senior management, no or little professional training, some offices and work areas are unsightly or abominably chaotic, lack of oversight by board of directors

Pros

Some really interesting nice people. The cache of working for public radio. Members of the community enjoy and support the station.

Cons

Some mean spirited, petty people that have been there too long. Poor pay, no pay raises, no benefits for part-time employees (and why they only hire for part-time.) Expected to volunteer for events with no pay. No organized management structure. Several managers are bullies.
