Pros
The people here are great. Everyone here at Circuit is an experienced and talented professional, we are trusted to do our best work, and we have a culture of transparency and open communication. We work semi-asynchronously; my work-life balance has improved dramatically since I joined the team... and I get more work done! As a result of the co-founders' product/user-focused mindset and care for their team, we have a product that the team is proud of.
Cons
I hadn't worked in a fully remote, asynchronous company before, and adjusting to a new way of working took me a while. I would definitely say it is not for everyone - if you are sociable, need a lot of contact with others, and meetings are your jam, then this is probably not the place for you. Now that I have settled in... I love it. Hands-down the best job I have ever had.
