Pros

It's nice to be in comfy uniforms,(u MUST wear tennis shoes!), not having to figure out "what am I going to wear today?" Since all stores are franchises, different owners have different commission/bonus outlines. If you hit your numbers, you can make great money. Tips are awesome. The stores are clean (they have central vacuums) and the structure of the company is what makes Sport Clips stand out, than the other salons. U have to follow a "script" to your clients. It's not for everyone, but when it's done, u gain a client, and make more money. Room for advancement.

Cons

Turnover, due to either poor management or owner's (a.k.a. team leaders.) We have a reputation and unfortunately as much as this company seems to "care about you" even if you "do your best" they can get rid of you without warning. U must have good numbers, since this is a "number" business. This company has lost some pretty good employees due to poor management and/or team leaders. U must work weekends and nights. No benefits except management.

Pros

Pay, schedule flexibility, growth opportunities, company events, benefits

Cons

The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

Pros

Flexible schedule and decent pay.

Cons

Team leader claimed to care about his team, but only cared about a few! Team leader cared more about employees, causing problems than the employees doing their job! Team leader got teary-eyed when an employee needed to be let go for being aggressive with another stylist! Team leader refused to pay out vacation time to an employee who quit, stating that it wasn’t policy and had never done before, employee who quit showed proof that it had been done before and team leader still refused to pay out vacation. Very few policy and procedures are followed per Sport Clips handbook, 100% would not recommend working for Sport Clips, especially at this location. Well hourly pay is decent, bonus on any level is nearly impossible, especially as a manager! As a stylist, you have to hit all three metrics to bonus at all, and as a manager, you yourself have to hit all the metrics, and you have to have at least one stylist who hits their metrics as well.
