Pros

All expenses covered, many locations.

Cons

You will burn out in a year or less, and you will spend more time on your tablet than you do working. You will never see your family again. Even if you streamline your schedule to make it manageable within 40 to 50 hours a week like they tell you, it won’t be good enough for the supervisors. They will call you at home, on your down time just to ask you why you didn’t clock much overtime. When you explain to them that you did your work and all you customers are happy and accounted for they will treat you like you are lazy and dump so much extra work on you out of the blue that you will not have a single day off in a week. I learned that going slow and clocking hours is what makes management happy, in fact you will get a pat on the back for doing the same work into overtime than you do when you are able to complete your route in less time.

Pros

Strong culture with abundant resources to support professional growth, along with opportunities to connect and collaborate with a diverse group of people.

Cons

Follow through from branch leadership are lacking. Favoritism is noticeable support for peers and advancement don’t feel consistent or merit based. There’s a strong focus on protecting budgets and optics, which makes it difficult to get basic products and resources needed to do the job right. That ends up impacting service to clients and puts unnecessary strain on technicians which is not good for the business. The company itself has a lot going for it, but internal branch management politics hold it back.
