* Very positive working environment. Everyone is friendly, there are often fun events, and there is a refreshing lack of drama and office politics compared to other places I've worked at. * As an engineer: lots of interesting design work to be done. Good mix of design (sitting at my desk doing CAD) and hands-on fabrication (machining, assembly). Engineers do most of the assembly on their prototypes. * Greentown Labs is an excellent place to work in. Next to Market Basket, good machine shop facilities (great for working on personal projects after hours), and overall good community. * Frequent free food

* Hours are pretty long (~50-60 hours a week, often work a couple hours on a weekend here and there), though typical for a startup. Spyce buys us dinner if we work later than 7:30PM. * The restaurant is about 3 miles from the office, so we don't tend to eat the food we make as often I'd like.
