Pros

Working at SqlDBM has been a truly rewarding experience. The flexible culture and dynamic environment have allowed me to grow well beyond a typical data developer role. I’ve had the chance to work directly with clients, tackle real-world challenges, and deliver meaningful solutions—opportunities that have been instrumental in my personal and technical development.

Cons

With the company's support, I’ve also attended major industry events like Snowflake Summit and DATA + AI, which have broadened my knowledge and network. Like many growing startups, SqlDBM has gone through a period of restructuring to realign with its long-term vision. Despite the challenges, I believe in SqlDBM’s mission and am grateful for the opportunities I've had. I'm excited to continue contributing to its growth.

Pros

Exciting Startup Energy: electric atmosphere that makes coming to work actually enjoyable. There's a real sense that you’re part of something growing and impactful. Empowered Ownership: You’re not just another cog in the machine—everyone's voice matters here. Ideas are encouraged, and execution is fast. Tight-Knit Team: The culture is warm and collaborative. People genuinely support each other, and the lack of red tape makes collaboration effortless. Remote-First Flexibility: Great work-life balance with the flexibility to work from anywhere while still staying deeply connected to the team. Cool Tech + Purpose: You get to work on meaningful problems in the modern data stack space, which is both technically exciting and highly relevant.

Cons

Startup Pace Isn’t for Everyone: Things move quickly and sometimes processes are being built as we go. If you need rigid structure, this might feel a little too dynamic. Wearing Multiple Hats: With a lean team, sometimes you’ll find yourself jumping between roles. But if you like learning fast and trying new things, this is a plus.
