Pros

typical startup environment with ping-pong, games and daily cookouts.

Cons

Square Panda – an immature B round company with a high burn rate that relies on periodic bailout funding from its primary investor Andre Agassi since it fails to get C round funding. The USA CEO and the “Global CTO” in India are completely disconnected and ineffective which creates a chaotic environment where nobody notices that nothing gets done. Job satisfaction is zero. Possibility for advancement is zero. Confidence that there will be money to pay the bills is zero. People continue to worry that their job function will be moved to India or China where all the customers are. All the recent reviews are from India, not the USA where cost-cutting continues. Expenses are paid late and only after you are given the runaround from finance. They will finance your exciting overseas trip to China on YOUR credit card for as long as possible.

Pros

Square Panda is fast-paced and you never get stuck doing the same thing twice. I've learned more at this job working with this team than any other job I've held. The literacy-based vision for the company is genuine and the folks working for Square Panda are passionate about actually making a difference in the world. The company is at a stage where if things go well for it, you could stand to gain a lot, equity wise. The company hires very smart people who actually take time to explain things to you if you want to learn - something I highly admire.

Cons

In true startup fashion, there are growing pains and sometimes issues working together as a team globally. We oftentimes take on more than we can chew for projects because we don't have the staff to support it - but we somehow manage to always get it done.
