There is nothing good about this school

1. They force teachers to stay late everyday. On paper the timings are from 7:45 to 3 but they ask teachers to come before 7:30 and stay at least as late as 3:30 which get often extended to 4pm and even late sometimes 2. All the senior faculty will put all their efforts to make your life miserable. The whole upper management is full of yes-persons. Floor incharges will frequently come in the class while teaching and undermine the authority of teacher and sometimes even be straight forward disrespectful to the teacher in the class in front of students and then expect teachers to have full control on the students. Other floor incharges or middle class incharges can also come to you and insult you. 3. So many registers to maintain and paperwork to handle during the day. Will continuously message after the working hours to assign more work that they want the next morning. So they want the teacher to be working at home as well. If you don't answer the messages, they don't hesitate to call you. 4. They frequently change the dress code of the teachers. Some day they will say wear Sarees only from now on. Then after a couple of months, they will ask teachers to dress as sales women in shirts and pants only. They even set specific dress codes for special events. So the teacher will be basically spending half her salary to match her clothes with the dress code. 5. There is no common staff room for the teachers, they want teachers to be with students in classrooms and have lunch during the recess and they want teachers to be standing always from morning till 2 p.m. After the students leave only then you can sit. 6. They regularly want documents like lesson plans and question papers but they do not provide sheets for them to be printed on. Teachers have to bring their own A4 sheets to the computer lab to get stuff printed. 7. In a 40 min class, they want the teacher to teach without looking into the book, recite notes to the students, explain every concept in detail and maintain silence in the class. Heads of departments will scold you if any student has not maintained his/her notes register. Notes can be checked anytime of any student randomly by them and the teacher will be held solely responsible if any student does not have complete notes. 8. Focus of senior faculty is always on a better result even if the teacher has to do something unethical. 9. Most of the students are not good in studies and generally 30 to 40 percent of students fail in at least one of the subjects. Senior management will only put blame on the teacher. 10. Location of the school is not good. There is no easy way to reach it either by metro or bus 11. On school events, they make no arrangements of refreshments for teachers. They treat them like their servants. They ask security guards to keep an eye on the teachers that they stay on the property during the event. 12. Senior management is filled with so rude people. They have no control over their language. They will outright disrespect the teachers with such rude words. Someone has already complained about them to the education board. Meetings are called unexpectedly near the end of the day to discuss rubbish points in which most of the teachers are not even involved. And when teachers go to them to discuss something they will act busy and not give attention to teacher's concerns. 13. They put unnecessary pressure on money collection in any event and even make teachers pay for passes from their own pockets if students do not pay on time. They do not hesitate in harassing students and teachers for money collection. 14 There are no paid sick leaves. If you fall ill or take even a single sick day off, they will ask you to bring a doctor's note else they will deduct salary. If you take a planned leave, they will ask for proof of that as well. If you say you have to attend a wedding, then they will ask you to show the wedding invitation card. Sometimes even after showing valid proof, they will deduct your salary. 15. They keep original documents and degrees as security for the first month and then ask you to pay one month's salary in cash only to get the documents back. This amount will be returned on the last working day. They only want security deposits in the form of cash and not in any other format. So it seems there is some shady side business going on. If the teacher delays in giving cash deposit the management and people from accounts department will start insulting you and threatening to hold your salary. They even stopped the salary of some teachers who refused to give the cash deposit. 16. The teachers who can be yes-persons can only survive. If any teacher has raised her concerns to the management or took leaves unexpectedly, she can be fired without giving any notice at all. 17. There is no job security at all. They can fire any teacher even if there has been a tragedy in her family. They are not bothered with personal problems of their employees. They every year fire teachers in the months of December and March when the academic session is ending. 18. You have to work 6 days a week. Only second Saturdays are off. If a holiday lies in the middle of the week, they will cancel the second Saturday off as well. 19. If you are a fresher, they will not give you any scope of learning or growing. They will keep hammering you with challenges and insults. 20. If you dare to join this school even after reading the above points, then do not expect any work life balance to be left in your life. They will message you with work even at 10 in the night and 6 in the morning. 21. The students and their parents continuously complain about the school management to the teachers during the PTM and events but the teachers can not convey their concerns to the management. They are given instructions about what to say to the parents in such scenarios. They want to create a perfect school but what they have created is perfect hell for teachers.
