      Pros

      I loved my time at SCH. The company has amazing managers, CTC, MSW, Chaplains, Message therapists, and CNA's. I enjoyed working with a group of highly professional individuals caring for amazing patients at end of life.

      Cons

      Because of the staff shortages in nursing, the RN-CM is expected to cover a lot of patients, work all day (8a-5p) and then oftentimes be back up 5p-8a throughout the week and work full weekends. As much as I loved the company and the work I did, I felt I had no work-life balance when I came home to my family.

      Good leadership/management Good benefits Good work life balance Great coworkers and company environment Ability to make more money by picking up on call It’s easy to take time off Company phone Opportunity to qualify for company vehicle

      Cons

      Weekend on call. We have to be back up every 8-9 weeks Lack of organization No structure for support. Company hires no PRN nurses and is limited to 1 LPN for support. Extra visits are expected to be picked up by case managers who already have a full load. Required to do an occasional admission Very large territory. Occasionally have to drive over an hour for PRN visits or admissions
