RN - Staff RN St. Francis Employee Review

The hospital was better when it was run by the nuns. They are management heavy. They do not have enough staff with high turnover on TELE/rENAL and ER. There are 4 colleges in the area so they do not go out of their way for the nursing staff. They do not listen to the floor nurses about how to better care for their patients. New nurses get in their 1 to 2 years and then are gone except on OB/Labor Delivery. They can easily replace with new nurses but the experience ones do not stay .long .
