Pros

I personally have a great manager Appreciate the ambitions of CEO - good time for change.

Cons

Current transition is not well managed - disconnect in understanding employee sentiment Expectations are not realistic especially in period of change No scope for progress and development & lack of respect Lack of cultural understanding; not a great place for ethnic and diverse nationalities Name dropping culture and lack of psychological safety in challenging senior leaders Incompetence is following up on feedback Fear of repercussion is persistent throughout

Hi, we're sorry to read your review. We understand that this is a difficult time within the business, and certain changes may feel unsettling, however bringing processes in line with other organisations and our long-term goals will go a long way to making SJP a fairer place for all employees. We are committed to strengthening our employee listening channels to understand our strengths, and lean into our challenges. We recognise the value in diversity and difference in opinion and want to seek this out. Sharing perspectives and pain points is vital in shaping what we do and how we do it, and we would really like to talk to you about your views and experience if you’d be happy to reach out via our Careers website: https://www.sjp.co.uk/careers. Pros

Strong brand recognition, good training materials, and a professional client-facing image. Colleagues are generally supportive, and there’s exposure to high-net-worth clients which can be valuable for career development.

Cons

High pressure to meet targets, limited flexibility, and compensation structures can feel unbalanced. Processes can be rigid, and progression may depend heavily on networks rather than performance alone.

It’s great to read the positives, but we're sorry you have had a mixed experience so far, and to hear about those experiences which don’t align with the culture we strive for. Please reach out via our internal channels to discuss these further. Thanks, Jess
