Good PTO accumulation for veteran employees. Direct supervisors are generally pleasant to work with. Workload is more manageable compared to other local hospitals.
Cons
Benefits are lacking: health insurance is poor and matching contributions to retirement are lower than other employers.
Wages are not keeping up with the rise in cost of living for the area. Most recent annual raise was higher than prior years, however raises must continue in this direction to correct the problem.
HR generally seems hostile when approached with questions and are not transparent.
No locality pay for Boise campus despite heavier/specialized workload and marked increase in cost of living. We have had employees quit simply due to housing unaffordability.
Overall St. Luke's feels much more bureaucratic/corporate than when I started working there.
