Free travel on the buses and the team of drivers you work with are great. Get trained and have a PCV license.
Cons
Managers don't care and will not listen to the drivers. Pressure constantly, and any complaint is instantly your fault without any interview or investigation. They will not allow any mistake to go without any type of warning. The control staff are only helpful when they want something from the driver, otherwise it's a case of if your face fits. Management are just bullies, union is useless, customers are rude, buses keep breaking down, rosters and duties are so exhausting you need a day off to recover, no decent rest periods. Constant rota changes, no family or social time. You get bullied out if you have any voice. Zero promotion available, unless your a yes person and suck up to the controllers and managers. The culture is horrid, get your license and as soon as your on the road, its try and get you to leave. Staff undervalued, and they don't care if you leave, theres always more to take your place. Experience counts for nothing. Staff facilities are shocking!
