Pros

Decent company with future potential. Field workers are some of the greatest. At the first level manager and below there is a strong bond of teamwork.

Cons

The company has lost its vision since the acquisition by Gridpoint. The company continues to hemorrhage money and without government subsidies or contracts the company will probably cease to exist as it does today.

Pros

Good communication from management. Very professional place to work. Employees are fairly compensated and treated with respect. High energy environment.

Cons

Company benefits are only decent. New management is changing the business model, and restructuring the company. Customer service could be better.

Pros

It got me in the Energy Efficiency / Renewable Energy business. Their marketing is pretty good. Their calculators for energy efficiency and renewable energy are pretty good. What they "say" they'll deliver is good with supporting evidence that is viable.

Cons

Don't EVER expect to receive your commission. Don't EVER expect that the operational team will actually deliver a satisfied product or service based on what you sold to the customer. ALWAYS expect the customer to be disappointed. ALWAYS expect that upper-level management (just look at anyone who was at a C-Level in the company 1 year ago)... -always expect those shysters to be cooking the books to make the company look attractive to be bought out and to have your commission "magically" go away 6 months after you sold something, because of their "magical" expenses on the job. I want to give credit to the actual operations folks in the trenches. they're frequently doing their best, but under pressure to deliver in minimal time, without good management support for quality. NO good project management approach. It is almost ALWAYS a "sell'm a bill of goods, -get the money and run" approach, with NO REGARD for the employee. It's just a place to collect a TINY pay check and then suffer till you can find another job.
