If they're hiring it's because they lost all their talent and are making a last gasp effort to save the ship before it sinks. The founders have absolutely, positively destroyed the place through narcissism, nepotism, and a cult-like loyalty to an obsolete technology. The board of directors is complicit in that they failed to hold them accountable. Such a shame. Keep an eye out for the fire sale.

Receiving a paycheck is always a pro

Depends on how you fit into their clicks. They talk a lot about the culture being great but then you have to listen to upper management speak derogatory towards other employees knowing they do the same about you as well. They “promote”being creative but critique everything you do. The Chief Officers have great ideas but have ran the company into the ground. Terrible at managing their budget. Actually, frightening! Unless you want to be a minion, look elsewhere!
