Pros

Beautiful, award-winning work, smart management and small enough to do a lot of things on your own / in partnership with owner

Cons

Small studio so there's limited growth opportunities, salaries are lower than average given the size.

Pros

The team is very supportive and encouraging of growth and development. There are quite a range of projects to work on from beauty packaging and branding to web design and trend research. Its a beautiful, light-filled office in downtown Manhattan.

Cons

Stark Design is a small boutique design agency. While there are lots of opportunities for hands-on design and real project input, the potential for advancement is limited. If you want to gain lots of experience and have project ownership, its a great place. If your goal is to move up the corporate ladder than a small firm isn't the place to be.
