Pros
I learned so much from Starkey and some great leaders there. Life and career lessons I will never forget. Starkey is a place where you work because you believe in something greater and not just for the money. That is why we worked weekends when our customers came to town; you worked weekend training seminars for 16-hour days and kept smiling. Traveled the world on your weekend to sell faceplates because we were ambassadors driven not by money but by a belief through our products we were part of something greater. When you handed somebody your business card or wore the latest lapel pin it was a sign of something unique; you felt pride, because you didn’t care what the competition did, how many channels or features their hearing aids had. It just was us our way that mattered. Starkey is where we did things our way and didn’t care how or what anybody else did in the industry. We were focused on our how and our why. You were loyal and our customers were loyal. We celebrated you our customer with respect. We believed in what we did and how we did it. With that conviction and confidence we were, and our customers were, successful. That is what it means to work there.
Cons
It’s not for everyone, but it definitely is fun. It is a very diverse company with many facets of business all in one.
