Pros

Being that this is a very small company, Fellows were able to sit on a lot of major discussions and decision-making processes. Everyone had a say in the things that went on, new projects, etc. Great team environment here. Was exposed to and learned a lot about cool events and gatherings of entrepreneurs, startups, new technologies, etc.

Cons

The founders were not very transparent with things that were going on and how our Fellowship would be structured (quite disorganized!). We were supposed to be paid a monthly stipend. After asking for multiple months and not really getting a straight answer, we were finally informed that they had decided to give us our stipends in a lump sum at the end of our "Fellowship"/internship. Would have been good to know ahead of time! Ended up leaving because they were not (at the time!) hiring the Fellows to be "full time".

Pros

I worked on a short PR campaign for them. The one pro was that it was a good project to be on.

Cons

This was one of the worse PR clients I ever had. I was emailed almost daily and under pressure to deliver instant results. When that didn't happen I was accused of not doing any work. I was also expected to available basically whenever the person wanted. This was only a 5 hour a week thing and I felt like I was expected to be some kind of employee. At one point it seemed like I was being threatened with a bad customer review. I ended up quitting the project and putting out a cease and desist to block further contact. The treatment I received was very bad for my mental health.
