Like any early stage, high growth company, State Affairs is not without its challenges.
The pace can be intense. Priorities shift quickly as the business evolves. If you need rigid structure and perfectly defined roles at all times, this environment may not be for you.
Because it is still scaling, some processes and systems are not built out yet. We have to be creative, own your world and operate without a playbook.
Communication can also be a work in progress at times. In a fast moving startup, not everything gets cascaded perfectly across teams, so you have to be proactive in staying aligned and informed.
Finally, expectations are high. There is a strong performance culture and a push to deliver results, which can create pressure, especially for those not used to that level of accountability.
That said, for people who thrive in fast paced, build it while flying environments, these challenges than I think you are like me and feel are opportunities, not drawbacks.
