Benefits, CEO wants to make positive changes.

Cons

Some managers are sabotaging efforts by the CEO to make changes. Here are a few examples: 1) Until now, management does not value the input and feedback of the rank and file by dismissing any suggestions as infeasible, or by using any justification to shoot down others' ideas for improvement. 2) Hard work, i.e. getting the job done, is punished. If you put in extra effort to meet your goals or deadlines, you get written up instead of commended. 3) If people have work-life balance issues such as childcare, elderly care, illness, the management considers you to be "useless" to them. 4) Destructive politics is the norm, creating a very toxic environment, where people try to move up the corporate ladder by stabbing people in the back, throwing people under the bus, deliberately spreading lies about others, and stealing the credit for others' accomplishment. 5) Favoritism - employees who do not know how to get along or work well with others, i.e. are not team-players, are "protected" by management if they brown-nose, but workers who are team-players and who do work hard but don't brown-nose get into trouble. 6) Hypocrisy - management encourages people to tell the truth, but those who do so suddenly "left" the department or the company.
