Pros
- remote, so you can work from anywhere - no set hours other than deadlines, so you can work on your own time
Cons
- staff is not helpful in ways that are meaningful. you will be asked to revise your work MANY times over even if you've followed clear guidelines. - even though you can work on your own time, there is no clock-in function; you are only paid for the end result (per word). so all the hours you spend actually writing? they are not paid. including the revisions. - even your approved, finished product can be further revised by the team. so your finished product may end up as a Frankenstein version of your work and whoever else ends up editing it. - they tend to let people go out of nowhere and not give so much of a reason.
