Pros
Great benefits, and serious about unlimited PTO - had a great work life balance, sometimes more "life" than work! Completely remote if that is what you like. Great coworkers who care about you.
Cons
It started off being an incredible opportunity and I had lots of work and engaging discussions - toward the 2 month mark of me being there, it was clear there was no strategy for the entire company; it was just focused on the big clients and everyone else was encouraged to "pave their own way" within the company, which is just so vague. You as a CEO cannot tell all your employees to be firestarters and look ahead for problems; that is the nature of having different types of employees. I started off and realized toward the end of my employment that I had learned almost nothing, and felt I actually regressed. I spent more time outside and not doing work than I did doing work, because it seemed like nobody really needed me. And then the firing spree came, with little to no explanation and just a smile from our CEO saying "its all love, we need you guys to do better!!" but with literally no guidance as to what to do next. I had employees tell me I was honestly better off without the company, I felt like I could have spent my time at literally any other job and gotten a better work experience.
