Management, Cut Your Losses - Product Designer SteelSeries Employee Review

I was well warned before I signed on to SteelSeries that there were known and ongoing management issues. I even read the Glassdoor reviews here because there definitely have been some historic issues. However, I didn’t think much of this as it seemed like there were some changes happening. I was coming for the chance to work with talented and passionate individuals and I was not let down in that regard. I was let down by management and the rampant chaos. I have never felt so demoralized, directionless and confused within a company. Nothing is transparent. Honesty is a figment of your imagination. The fact that anything gets launched is an amazing feat pulled off by the talented glue holding that place together. You are bleeding talent. Your talent is leaving because better opportunities exist elsewhere. If you want to be competitive, in a time when we are up against a looming recession (yay tariffs), get it together and invest in keeping your talent instead of chasing them out.
