Pros

Large OEM exposed to many programs/projects.

Cons

Massive reduction in headcount in North America engineering with the expectation of carrying more workload than one engineer. Work & project deliverables are late or behind schedule. Request for help/manpower is heard with a deaf ear. Many groups are severely understaff or work has been outsourced and you are still fixing their mistakes. Ability to move groups has been curtailed due to manpower issues. There are more trackers and middle managers that provide no value add to projects besides providing reminders and requesting redundant tasks. Overall the company has gone severely down hill in the past two years due to poor leadership in North America and Globally.

Pros

This is a company where you can learn a lot if you are willing to take initiative. There are many talented people you can connect with who are willing to help you improve and do your job better. I also believe there is a real opportunity to regain stability and grow professionally.

Cons

There are still some organizational challenges, including unclear ownership in certain areas and a high level of uncertainty. The onboarding process could also be improved, as it mainly focuses on general company benefits and HR information, rather than providing role-specific training or guidance for the actual job responsibilities.
