I can work from home, have fast and easy communication with my project managers, and they let me set my own pace which is PERFECT for me as a full-time student. I set my own rates and there is understanding whenever I can't meet a deadline.

Pay is low to start but I set it myself so I have no one to blame except for myself! I look forward to upward mobility to change that.

The only pro I can think of is working from home.

You will basically be factory farming articles for little pay while owners take advantage of your eagerness to get a foot into the writing industry. Expect 20+ more articles a week at 20$ per 600 words. If you go over word count like you’re expected to, guess what it’s still 20$. Even though you are a contract/freelance employee you’re expected to attend zoom meetings on their time. Also good luck getting paid on time. Expect days without your promised pay as you have to message the manager to send you money via pay pal once all articles are completed. Sometimes she just doesn’t feel like checking her messages till the next week! They even had the audacity to increase the word count per article on your contract by 200 words without raising pay. Do not work for this group of scammers. There are much better ways to get into the writing industry. Do not waste your time!!
