Pros

Most people honestly do care-first, for students and for coworkers.

Cons

Since joining, I’ve gone from elated to quietly and truly su1c1dal. The constant people shuffling, mysterious departures, and politics leave me anxious, exhausted, deflated, and feeling physically heavy. Working here has not been very good for my mental health. I’ll soon be gone in one way or another

Pros

A supportive and energizing company to be a part of with a team who genuinely cares about one another and the work they do. The mission is meaningful, and there is a strong sense of shared purpose across the organization. There are also lots of opportunities to take on new challenges, expand your skill set, and learn.

Cons

To be excelling in your role, it often requires putting in more than just a standard workday. This is not Stepful specific, it's the case with any start up and is not always a negative.

Pros

Amazing team leaders in CCMA program. Supportive and attentive to instructors within their program. Focused on student success and quality curriculum. Alyssa and Katie are true professionals that treat their instructors with respect and dignity. They are the reason for the program's success and sadly are not valued by higher management. Their level of expertise and professionalism is unmatched by anyone in the company.

Cons

Upper level management disconnected and out of touch. They treat contractors and employees with disrespect and place no value on the expertise they bring to the program. Employees and contractors are treated poorly and no gratitude is shown for their dedication. Student success and satisfaction are not factors considered in employment and advancement opportunities, just sheer "numbers" in the program.
