Terrible practices you see the longer you're there. - Anonymous employee Sterling Group Employee Review

Pros

Close-knit environment where the president does care about his employees but may not realize how some of the divisions are operating and can be predatory.

Cons

Some sections of the company are good but most are horrible. Part of them having to compete with the very competitive sector of multifamily housing means having to be ruthless and partake in low-life practices. They have no issue with bankrupting small businesses they hire.

Pros

Decent pay, easy to make bonuses

Cons

The upper management team is a bunch of bullies. They will teach you a lot but when they get bored, they target you making the work environment hostile. At first it was the best job I ever had but quickly turned to the worst.
