Pros

2 weeks vacation time accrued.

Cons

Management just does not have it together. They tell other employee's personal business and even go as far as talking about who is going to get fired before the employee knows. It's just a sad company that has been spiraling downhill.

Pros

The pay is okay for the area.

Cons

Sterling Realty Management suffers from a deeply flawed leadership structure that significantly impacts the company culture and employee morale. The President often appears moody and combative, frequently engaging in unnecessary disputes with vendors—particularly evident during conference calls with partners like RealPage. Her leadership style is highly reactive, lacking any sense of strategic foresight or proactive decision-making. The Vice President, unfortunately, does not possess the experience or temperament necessary for his role. His inability to accept accountability for poor decisions, combined with a lack of professionalism and leadership capability, leaves teams without proper guidance or support. His relationship with both the HR representative and the accountant—who are family members—raises concerns about nepotism and further undermines credibility within the organization. The Senior Property Manager, with over three decades at the company, routinely makes decisions that seem out of step with modern property management standards, especially in terms of fair housing compliance. This only adds to the liability and concern surrounding the company’s operations. Training is minimal and often inadequate. Communication across teams is disjointed at best, and there is no clear company culture or sense of direction. The environment is riddled with poor planning, mismanagement, and a lack of transparency. For professionals seeking a structured, growth-oriented, and respectful workplace, this is not it. Bottom line: Steer clear. There are far better opportunities elsewhere with leadership that values professionalism, employee development, and industry best practices.
